Scott Redding became the youngest ever GP winner in 2008 when he won the 125 GP on home turf, also garnering the accolade of Rookie of the Year. A strong contender in Moto2™ with many podium finishes, Redding was then a key title contender in the class in 2013 – just missing out on the crown after a season cut short by injury. Moving up to MotoGP™ for 2014, Redding had a solid rookie year with the Gresini Team before moving to the new Marc VDS Racing GP project. Taking a his first premier class podium in Misano, for 2016 the Brit moved to Octo Pramac Racing and took another rostrum at the TT Circuit Assen, this time on a Ducati. Redding remains with the team in 2017, with a 2016 Desmosedici on which to contest the Championship.
